Vodafone Business First plans for Australian business fleets
One fleet proposition across voice, devices and mobile broadband. Data pools across every service on your account, Tech Fund credits go towards the hardware your team carries, and SwiftServe puts the account in your own hands.
BUSINESS FIRST 2026
One range, three ways to connect a fleet.
Business First is built for organisations running six or more services. Whichever plans you mix, the max speed data on your account is pooled and drawn down first-in, first-served — so a quiet month on one handset covers a heavy month on another.
Voice plans
Unlimited national calls and SMS with 50GB, 100GB or 300GB of pooled max speed data. Available on 24 or 36 month terms.
Tech Fund plans
The same voice inclusions with a one-off device credit of up to $1,500 to put towards handsets and hardware.
Mobile broadband
Data-only SIMs from $7 a month for tablets, laptops and routers, feeding the same shared data pool.
All prices on this page include GST. International roaming charges are GST-free.
SIM ONLY AND TECH FUND
Two ways to put phones in hands.
Same inclusions, same pooled data, same network. The only question is whether you need hardware. Full pricing, inclusions and minimum total costs live on each page.
| Data | SIM only, per month | Tech Fund, per month | Tech Fund device credit | International minutes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50GB | $40 | $55 | $400 – $600 | 100 min Zone 1, 50 min Zone 2 |
| 100GB | $50 | $80 | $800 – $1,200 | Unlimited Zone 1, 100 min Zone 2 |
| 300GB | $60 | $100 | $1,000 – $1,500 | Unlimited Zone 1, 200 min Zone 2 |
Monthly prices per service, GST included. Available on 24 and 36 month terms. The device credit range reflects the term length. The 300GB plans include three $5 Roaming days each calendar month.
Bring your own handsets
Unlimited standard national calls and SMS, pooled data, and the lowest monthly price per service. Early termination is half the monthly fee for each month remaining.
Add a device credit
The same three plans plus a one-off credit of $400 to $1,500 per service towards handsets and hardware. Early termination is 60% of the monthly fee for each month remaining.
MOBILE BROADBAND
Business First Mobile Broadband
Data-only SIMs for tablets, laptops, routers and machines. They draw on the same shared pool as your voice services, and they are the one part of the range available month to month with no lock-in.

These are not the old mobile broadband plans. Calling and SMS have been removed from the 2026 mobile broadband range, other than whitelisted numbers and emergency calls. If a device on your fleet needs to send or receive texts — an alarm panel or a lone-worker device, for instance — it belongs on a voice plan, not one of these.
Month-to-month mobile broadband carries no early termination charge.
HOW THE POOL WORKS
Your data is one pool, not thirty allowances.
This is the part of Business First worth understanding before you pick plan sizes, because it changes what the right mix looks like.
Everything pools together
Max speed data from your Voice, Tech Fund and Mobile Broadband plans on the same billing account lands in one pool, used first-in first-served. You are buying a total, not a per-handset limit.
The pool is spent before anyone slows
Every service draws max speed data from the pool until the whole pool is exhausted. Only then do services drop to 2Mbps — so a single heavy user cannot slow the fleet while allowance remains.
No bill shock in Australia
There is no excess data charge domestically. Once the pool is gone you keep working at up to 2Mbps until the next cycle. This is the significant departure from how Business Flex handled overage.
International minutes pool too
Counted Zone 1 and Zone 2 minute inclusions share across the account. Unlimited international minutes do not — they stay with the service that includes them.
Roaming is the exception
The only time excess data is charged is while you are using $5 Roaming overseas, where extra data comes in 1GB blocks at $5 each. Roaming charges sit on top of your monthly spend and are GST-free.
Allowances do not roll over
Unused data and minutes expire at the end of each billing cycle. Included $5 Roaming days reset on the first calendar day of the month — three per month, use them or lose them.
Topping up the pool
Add-ons recur monthly until you cancel them and feed the shared pool. Boosters are a one-off for the month you buy them. Both can be stacked as many times as you need.
| Add-on | Allowance | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data add-on | 3GB | $15 | Monthly, until cancelled |
| Data add-on | 15GB | $30 | Monthly, until cancelled |
| Data add-on | 50GB | $45 | Monthly, until cancelled |
| IDD add-on | 240 minutes, Zone 1 | $5 | Monthly, until cancelled |
| IDD add-on | 60 minutes, Zone 2 | $10 | Monthly, until cancelled |
| Data booster | 3GB | $15 | One-off |
| Data booster | 15GB | $30 | One-off |
| Data booster | 50GB | $45 | One-off |
All prices include GST. Add-on and booster pricing may change from time to time.
WHY BUSINESS FIRST
What you get beyond the allowance.
eSIM activation
Activate an eSIM the moment the service is added to your account. No waiting on a courier to get a new starter working.
SwiftServe self-service
The new portal for Business First. Provision services, order SIMs and handsets, port numbers in, disconnect services, track orders and watch usage and spend in real time.
An Australian account manager
A named person at your nearest Vodafone Business Centre who knows your fleet, not an offshore queue. That is the whole reason VBC exists.
Tech Fund device credits
Up to $1,500 per service towards hardware, so you can refresh handsets on a cycle that suits your budget rather than the carrier’s.
$5 Roaming
Use your plan inclusions across 100-plus destinations for $5 a day. The 300GB plans include three days each month at no charge.
One contracting entity
TPG Telecom is now the single contracting entity across the range, which simplifies paperwork for multi-site and multi-entity customers.
THE DETAIL
The terms worth reading before you sign.
Nothing here is a surprise on a bill if you know it going in. Ask us anything that is unclear — we would rather answer it now.
Built for six services or more
Business First is a fleet proposition designed for organisations running six or more services. Smaller accounts are better served by a different Vodafone business range, and we will tell you if that is you.
Sixty days to connect
You have 60 days to connect the services you have agreed to. If they are not connected in that window, pricing can revert to list price.
Early termination — voice and mobile broadband
On 24 and 36 month SIM-only terms, the charge is half your monthly plan fee for each month remaining. Month-to-month mobile broadband has no early termination charge.
Early termination — Tech Fund
Tech Fund plans carry 60% of the monthly plan fee for each month remaining, reflecting the device credit paid upfront. It is billed on the invoice after termination.
Discounts end with the term
Where a discount or special price runs for the length of your contract, it ends when the contract does. Worth diarising before renewal rather than discovering it on a bill.
Approval and ABN
Business First is available to approved customers with an ABN or ACN. Mobile broadband is also available to government agency customers.
Already with us on an older range? Existing customers stay on their current plans, and services can still be added to an in-contract account. If you would rather move to Business First mid-term, early exit fees can apply — talk to your account manager before you commit to anything, and we will work out whether waiting for renewal is the cheaper path.
QUESTIONS
Frequently asked.
What is Business First 2026?
It is Vodafone’s current business mobile range, launched on 18 August 2026. It covers voice plans, Tech Fund plans that include a device credit, and data-only mobile broadband plans. It replaces the Business Flex range for new customers and brings one fleet proposition across every Vodafone sales channel, including Vodafone Business Centres.
Can I get a Business First plan month to month?
Mobile broadband is available month to month with no early termination charge. Voice and Tech Fund plans are sold on 24 or 36 month terms — VBC does not sell month-to-month voice, so if you need a short commitment on a handset, tell us and we will talk through what is possible.
How many connections do I need?
Business First is designed for fleets of six or more services, across any combination of voice, Tech Fund and mobile broadband plans. If you run fewer than six, there is a different Vodafone business range that suits you better and we will point you at it rather than sell you the wrong thing.
What happens when we use all our data?
Nothing appears on your bill. Once the shared max speed data pool is exhausted, services are slowed to up to 2Mbps until the next billing cycle. There is no excess data charge in Australia. The exception is while roaming on $5 Roaming, where additional data is charged at $5 per 1GB.
Is 2Mbps actually usable?
For email, messaging, voice calls, maps and most cloud applications, yes. Video streaming and large file transfers will feel slow. If a team consistently hits the ceiling, the fix is usually a data add-on rather than moving everyone to a larger plan.
How does data sharing work across plans?
Max speed data from every Business First voice, Tech Fund and mobile broadband plan on the same billing account pools together and is used first-in, first-served. Counted international minute inclusions pool as well. Unlimited international minutes stay with the service that includes them and cannot be shared.
What can the Tech Fund be spent on?
Devices purchased from us at the start of your term — handsets, tablets and accessories. The credit is one-off, per service, and ranges from $400 to $1,500 depending on plan size and term length. If the hardware costs more than the fund, the difference is payable upfront.
Can Business First mobile broadband SIMs make calls?
No. Calling and SMS have been removed from the 2026 mobile broadband plans, other than whitelisted numbers and emergency calls. If a device needs to text or call, it needs a voice plan.
What is SwiftServe?
The self-service portal that comes with Business First. You can add and disconnect services, order physical SIMs to a nominated address, port existing numbers in, order handsets, track orders through to delivery, raise support cases, view invoices and balances, and check usage per service. Your account manager still handles anything you would rather not do yourself.
Are these prices what we will pay?
The prices above are the published rates. In practice what you pay depends on the number of connections you run and the mix of plans, which is why every plan here has a quote button rather than a buy button. Tell us the size of the fleet and we will come back with real numbers.
THE PAPERWORK
Critical Information Summaries.
Every Business First plan has a Critical Information Summary setting out inclusions, minimum total cost and early termination charges in Vodafone’s own words. The Voice, Tech Fund and Mobile Broadband summaries are all dated 18 August 2026.
Prices on this page include GST and are current at the date of publication. International roaming charges are GST-free and sit on top of your monthly spend. Plan inclusions, add-on pricing and rates can change — the Critical Information Summary and the Vodafone Business General Terms prevail over anything summarised here.
Tell us how many connections you run.
An account manager will come back to you the same business day with a price.
