1. Introduction

This Fair Use Policy forms part of VBC Group’s Standard Terms for the Supply of Services. The meanings given to words in the Standard Terms also apply in this Fair Use Policy.

Our Fair Use Policy applies to your use of any Vodafone service supplied through VBC Group. Its purpose is to ensure customers responsibly access Vodafone services so that we can deliver high-quality, safe, and secure services to all business users.

2. What is Unreasonable Use?

Your use of a Service is unreasonable if you use Vodafone’s Service in a way that is:
– contrary to how Vodafone intended the Service to be used (“unintended use”), or
– unacceptable (poses risks to networks, security, or service integrity).

Examples of Unintended Use include:
– Using services for re-supply unless your service was sold for that purpose.
– Using a SIM for a purpose other than what it was sold for (e.g., using a mobile SIM in an IoT device).
– Bulk messaging, auto-dialling, arbitrage, or continuous call forwarding.
– Making calls or sending texts that are not standard person-to-person communication.

Examples of Unacceptable Use include:
– Causing interference, congestion, or sub-optimal performance of a system or network.
– Attempting to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities.
– Accessing or monitoring data or traffic without authorisation.

This list is not exhaustive.

3. Use of the Internet

Where Vodafone services allow internet access, you must ensure:
– Your use complies with this Fair Use Policy.
– You accept responsibility for all risks associated with internet use.

4. Our Rights

If you breach this Fair Use Policy, VBC Group (on behalf of Vodafone) may, without notice:
– Suspend or limit the service (or any feature of it).
– Terminate your agreement in accordance with Vodafone’s Standard Terms.
